    I trade spot gold using CMC Markets. You can trade gold in $US even though your account is in AUS$. Symbol is XAUUSD. There is no daily financing charges and the margin is only 1%. As the AUS$ goes up, the POG in AUS$ terms goes backwards, hence why I like to trade gold in US$.
