Yes OEL is one of the many smaller oil/gas stocks that look great value. It hard to understand why the oil/gas sector is getting hit so badly with the Wall St crash. We all knew that a correction was due for the very overpriced USA market and even some of our over priced blue chips. But the main point with the oil/gas sector is that it was never part of this big SP increases over the same period. In fact it was only in the past few months that the sector started to move out of a massive 5 year or more bear market decline. Oil/gas stocks were just starting to take notice of the increase in the price of oil. IF the price of oil stays around the current A$81.00, the demand for East coast gas stays in place and the demand for LNG keeps growing many smaller oil/gas stocks are either going to jump back quickly or they will get taken over. Here is the long list I have CVN,SXY,ELK,FDM,HZN,OEL,RLE,COI,GLL,STX,BUL all could come up with very good announcements within the next 6 months or so. Like to hear from others on above because if I am correct very good profits could be made from some of the above suggestions and most likely several others.

AJQ has just refurbished and restarted their Kincora gas plant in the Surat Basin, have significant 2P reserves and a GSA with APLNG. CR completed. Huge tenements in NT and NW Qld. One to watch.
