In the same boat as Wilson but have been looking close to home (southern Syd) I'm a bit to cautious about buying interstate in areas i'm not familiar with.

Looking at 2br units, this sector has gone crazy at the moment and its a frenzy, very hot at the moment.

Went to an open house, an old defence cottage at Holsworthy that would have been a headache to maintain for rent as an alternative to a unit, at first opening they had a perspex bid box at the door, like a silent auction, the place was gone that arvo.

Not sure weather to wait a while and heed the warnings of the doomsdayers or jump in, pay through the nose and take the risk.
