It is important to have a balanced investment portfolio, but this article does hold true for the highly leveraged investors...
so many mums and dad's now believe that not only is it the 'Australian Dream' to own your own home, but it is now required that we all own a negatively geared investment home!
How common are these dodgy property seminars now...? i really do think there have been allot of first time investors that have been caught out and will possibly get hurt in the near future.
If your debt to equity is reasonable and can factor in a couple of % to be on the safe side, then go for it.
