Funny game this equity market. Nothing ever amazes me more than when you get blue chip takeovers like say Syd Airport or now more recently Ramsey Health . A multi billion dollar blue chip company which would have had mainstream analysts pouring over it day after day punching out their valuations and yet bang in 1 single day someone thinks it's worth paying 54% more for it than the day before without a single piece of news! My point here is who the hell knows what FDA will mean but it could lead to a huge rise which would seem possibly a little nonsensical relative to the odds or maybe the current price is just ridiculously low. I've seen some estimates that 80% of all trades the sellers don't even know their selling - they just get their end of day report on what their models executed.
