Got out a month ago and put all the cash into a term deposit tax efficiently.(non income earning wives are good for something)

Not worth the mental effort required in a market where even the shorters might wear a haircut with a few dead cat bounces that will happen to give false hope to the bulls and allow the instos to lighten.

There are no real defensive stock in a fair dinkum bear market. I think a 30% general market decline over the next 6-12 months is a real possibility.

This is not a short term correction as the basis of a strong market is the financials (banks) and they are in serious trouble. I don't think a big collapse will happen but the market will bleed for a considerable period as the financial markets come to terms with what they have created....not much of any substance!
