My thoughts on VML.
1. The previous owner (Avalon) spent close to 100mil on exploration, so they should already know pretty well what they've got in the ground and where it is.
2. The resource is bastnaesite which is one of the easiest minerals to chemically treat for light rare earths. Their specific resource is contained in a white surrounding material which means no need for floatation and can easily be visually sorted with an Outotec visual ore sorter.
3. They are out-sourcing the labor intensive (fixed costs) parts of the production which, since they can only mine in campaigns due to weather will keep their overall OPEX within reason.
I will watch with interest their execution on their plans. They could be the first light RE resource to get mining since Lynas.
