pasta, I believe that it's because we all got sucked into this at a higher price, once bitten twice shy type of thing.
Plus the market in general.
Plus the fact that we are involved with g'ment decision makers.
Any 'mums & dads' buying now (small quantities) will be rewarded (we hope).
But I've been ripped off before!
