GRY seem to be a bit more proactive. They took over Shield (which I think the nearology has failed), have a 20% stake in PIR (which had a good announcement last week) and seem overall to me to be better than AMX which is troubled by management changes, lower grade etc.
AMX are cheaper, but is that due to just being unloved by the market or major problems. I don't like bottom picking, leads to knife cuts (or is that mixing the metaphors too much)
Both are stocks I follow, happy to hold GRY, but was stopped out of AMX.
