Consider the American Car industry, GM, Chysler and Ford in late 2008. Chysler was bought out by Italian. The shareholders of GM was wiped out. New shareholder (US government) comes in and issues new stock. Ford gets the benefits.
A strong U producer like Ford, SP got punished but survive. Shareholders rewarded later.
A weak U producer like GM, a third party comes to rescue and wipe out existing shareholders.
U will survive, the asset will survive, PDN may survive but all shareholders will be wiped out.
I will not buy PDN again at any price. Better buy a stronger one that will survive.
