I expect turbines of this scale to become the standard in a few short years. They are way more efficient and less intermittent than what is currently being built. Perhaps FCWF is being delayed to reconfigure for these monsters. Wink. I shudder at the obligation to gain fresh planning approvals for something that reaches this high into the sky - even deep in darkest Orange NSW.

Orange is 300km inland from one of the densest urban areas we have. Blades coming from Port Kembla or the Port of Newcastle will travel 450km. I can't see turbines of this size ever making significant roads inland until there is innovation in blade transportation, and subsequently, their engineering, which could happen, but not near term you'd expect.
I sincerely hope FCWF delays eventuated for the exact reason as stated, per ASX requirements. As a shareholder, you'd feel uneasy otherwise. It was not an easy task for Infigen in navigating the initial step from 150m to 160m - having received 57 objections/complaints at that stage alone suggests this is not a popular wind farm. Any dreams of navigating immense transportation, engineering, environmental and social issues in the near term may be unrealistic.
