FCWF has been previously revised for change in turbine size... but realistically - all the planning and approvals have been done since last November from memory - I think the IFN team has been waiting for something... I would be perhaps assuming a key financial metric... gearing vs equity, interest cover, max leverage or perhaps even a pre commited PPA by a large industrial customer prior to turning the shovel.
We all think it is a key addition to the portfolio, but I do think the team are doing a great job of financial management - perhaps they would like to keep a high level of certainty on cashflow... (minimize exposure to spot price sale of volts).
On a side note... just read on the Renew site the Haliade X test unit in Holland is producing volts... new 24hr world record for generation... 262Mwh (enough to power 30,000 European homes) from a single unit... will not post the link... has been mentioned we are all looking at the same news sites... just thought it was an impressive number...
