CFD contract for difference, im not 100% on the whole term, but in short, you dont own the stock, you are "owning" it for a contracted period. when the price of the stock reaches a desired level, it sells, and you keep the profit. 500plus, etoro, etc are for this, if you want to purchase stock, check out commsec app. but you need a commbank account. i personally use etoro and commsec app, but for two different reasons, etoro to CFD, and commsec for long term holds. Also if you want divedends, CFD wont work.
