The u spot price is really a barometer regarding sentiment...nothing else.
Only 5% of total uranium produced is sold via the spot market. The other 95% is sold via long term contracts. The contract price is currently $90...it has maintained over $90 for well over 12 months, whilst the spot price has fallen from $140 to $60 during the same period.
