G'day rarebird1971-You should be aware their is a difference between a
Troy vs a avoirdupois Ounce a Troy Ounce is heavier than a regular
Ounce.
One regular Ounce is 28.35 grams
One Troy Ounce is 31.1 grams.
The difference becomes very noticeable when you're trading in larger quantities
of precious metals.
Further if you wish to do calculations to emphasise OGX's potential you should
use the gold processing gravity plants name plate capacity -don't think that insulation
of one Hammer Mill in circuit or as you imply a second tertiary crusher will double
the plants capacity--( though a second one as back up would be good insurance).
The benefit comes from the finer crush that liberates more gold enabling a
higher recovery rate. Just proving up the plant at 20t per hour x 12 hrs per day=240t per day.
240 tonne per day x 365 day's per year=87,600 Tonne Per Annum.
Rest Assure-the gold processing plants through-put capacity can be increased
once economic viability is proven -this will also incorporate what is the realistic
mineralised high grade tonnage that can be mined -extracted while controlling
dilution of grade grams per tonne gold mined-pre processing.
This why the company imo emphasised today that they are working one being able
to provide four independent mineralised ore supply's .
Also keep in mind the additional Ace if deemed commercial will be the average
grade per tonne determined from tailing, all indications thus far is that tailing
grades will be well worth reprocessing & should this be confirmed would give
potentially a fifth ore supply or the tails become a top up supply depot if when
high grade material is interrupted .
Being able to keep steady state feed continuously or as long as possible in between
the inevitable hiccups & break down/shut downs from having plenty of processing
plant feed is critical .
One other point -what has been established thus far in Asx Ann is the continuous
nature of the high grade veins -this is also fantastic news.
Hence there are a good many conformations thus far that OGX should be a stella
earner relative to used economies of scale & obviously will very likely drive the share
price well north of its current price.
The market still await conformations -many should be just confirming what we already
assume based on the pieces of information already received & or discovered recently.
