If you are going to place a large order, you should be able to better than standard buy vs. spot price. Call a few places (including Perth Mint) and ask them what they can do for you.

If your just looking to buy a few ounces, I'd still look into a local bullion dealer, as you'll save the shipping costs and probably still pay the same buy margin as the PM charges.
