Sorry to be telling you this but I reckon its not the best time now to be a day trader or to rely solely on day trading for income, especially when you have yet to go through the hard yards , because the market environment now is unpredictable and the day of market reckoning is drawing near.
IMO the better approach is to get a real job and dabble and learn the market on the side while on L or P plates with smaller amount of money. If you have the passion you will make time to learn the markets but without the need to start putting all the pressure on yourself day 1 to rely on the markets to support yourself financially. But of course if you have the financial resource without the need to work, then that would be less stress.
