Keep it simple I find most people get carried away with what's on offer with charts,so keep it simple and don't overcomplicate it Always remember it's only an indicator at the end of the day, just an extra tool to make money . The simple things like; trends higher highs and higher lows doji candle reverse trend indicator Bollinger macd Rsi quick visual indicators and away you go. I use the STD Bollinger also to the tax question,,,I'd rather have a headache over making too much money and having to pay tax than making losses.
Don't forget,any announcements blow technicals out of the water so keep it real and don't think your the smartest guy in the room because 100% you're not
