From memory...Tripp gets 2 tranches of shares if he puts together deals ......The first being if the deal adds 10% to the annual income and the 2nd is if he adds 100% to the annual income......The way the income is trending for BET....the 100% deal would involve adding around $100mill in revenue a year.... that would be a pretty sizeable deal.
Its been a while since the original Tripp announcement...... so i could have this totally wrong??
