Was it ever fully determined that Macquarie were the shorters irrefutably?
Possibly the X trades were Macquarie acquiring the shares outright at market price (26c or whatever) for a cash consideration. Wasnt that how the agreement stated they could get around the buy back, just purchasing for cash?
