Hey Nooks, I see we have dropped to 11 (from 9) of the top 100 shorted stocks!…….with the volume of the past few days and the declining share price, it will be interesting to see which way it goes……..The 12M drop in shorts does seem strange.

I wonder………is the example below a possibility?…….I don’t fully understand how shorting systems work.

Example - If Paradise have 3 nominees on their account……and each of their nominees had a “Seperate Shorting Company” (SSC), is it possible for them to create a system where 1 SSC keeps pushing the price down while the 2nd SSC buys them, while the 3rd SSC picks up the shares that are not related to 1 & 2 SSC……….now once the 2nd SSC had a substantial amount then they would try to push the price down and the 1st SSC would buy them, while the 3rd SSC buys all the shares not related to the transaction between 2 & 1 SSC.

So essentially, the 1st & 2nd SSC’s maintain the number of shares and return the shorted shares back to the nominees while the 3rd SSC mops up the scared retail and increases the holdings for Paradise.

……….So does anyone know how it actually works and is the above example possible?

As I said, I do not know how it works and was just wondering………It has been a great opportunity to top up though!
