Like many I saw the news of the ASX listing of FireBrick Pharma this morning. It sounded interesting. As far as I can see, this is a Betadine based nasal spray that will treat viruses in the respiratory system. Don't viruses invade/inhabit the rest of the body also? Are there other components in the spray that address this? Because if the spray is soley relying upon Betadine as the active ingredient, it is not a "cure for the common cold" as is being touted. I have used a nasal spray bottle with a mild mix of salt and Betadine for years as a treatment for colds/flu/ nasal infection. Will this new product provide a better outcome? Maybe, but as others have posted, this could easily be an IPO pump and dump. Best to let the dust settle I think.
