At the present the Reseve bank is Australian. The board of the reserve bank is Australian. The Australian Govt's treasurer ( Jim Chalners at the moment) has the constitutional right to override the reserve bank Governor. Ie Jim Chalmers could actually have stopped the reserve bank from putting up the interest rates But he chose not to. ( but he criticed the reserve bank every time they put the interest rates up) Biggest hypocrite of all time.
