You may be right longboarder, I was just thinking out loud or rather in text.
My judgement may be clouded because I am a Hilary fan but I do think the Dems best chance is with her.
Whichever one leads the Dems it will be hard to beat McCain. He has strong war record, he is articulate and intelligent and is a self made man (unusual for the Republicans to choose someone like that to lead them).
I want the Republicans to be out altogether. No control of congress, no control of the Senate and no one in the administration. They need to be kicked in the head to understand what happens when you treat your constituents with arrogance (like the lesson the coalition received here).
I want all that by my fear is that the prejudices of the VOTING public will prevail. If only the poor, the black, the hispanic would get of their backsides and turn up to vote it could be a different country. They are their own worst enemies.
