The price is agreed, I believe, for the amount that we currently know about which is about 10,000 tonnes. I believe that the contract is for the number of tonnes and not for a set time such as 2 years. I also believe that the time expected to take to mine the 10,000 tonnes is well short of 2 years.
My point is, that if more is found in quantity by others then, if we also find more, then the price we get for it after the 10,000 tonnes is depleted will probably be less per tonne. In other words we will have competition.
There is a good chance that we will find more, and may have already done so unknown to us, and cesium could be a very valuable ongoing and exclusive commodity for PIO well into the future.
Also I think the agreement stops us selling to others but does not restrict Cabot's from buying from other companies other than PIO.
