Depending on which direction the wind is blowing the last line of the news article should explain my post.
It's unclear how much has vented, but nearby workers have been evacuated and native Alaskan villages dozens of miles away have been notified.
It seems obvious to me that Alaskan authorities are concerned about the safety of people living in the area proximate to the venting.
IW2 location is not that far away from Deadhorse.
