2ic - my ORE cash went into this yesterday.
ye gods, the half report was not as bad as it might have been.

There are going to be huge opportunities for the larger capped funds to clean up assets of any REITs that get forced into asset sales. Certainly most have much higher gearing that IOF (not that you could tell looking at the SP graph!)

And due to BS, IOF might be one of those that could benefit by buying cheap assets. Certainly it would take some fund/bank backing, and they all seem to be deserting this ship at the moment. It seems the insto view is that ever single REIT will fail.

Management have looked a like stunned mullets over the last few weeks, so I dont have great confidence that they could capitalize on any opportunities.
