The price of the placement may well depend on when negotiations started. If they started some months ago then $4.00 may have been very good as the share price was well below that. Now $4.00 does not read as well with the share price $4.67.
To most long termers $4 or $5 is really irrelevant. The main game is ensuring that we have total funding to complete all projects. If this is done then the share price will look after itself as mining progresses.
Even at $4 the party buying the shares must still expect considerable upside, remembering that they would have seen more company data then we have access to. So what percentage increase does the buyer expect? that is the real question.
The short term may well see the share price drop back. I hope that if if does it allows people to get back in before the surge upwards.
