Weekend Winners – Saturday, March 30 edition

Welcome to Weekend winners, your one-stop tipping sheet for Saturday.

ROSEHILL GUINEAS TIP – IT'S A DUNDEEL (Rosehill – Race 6 No. 2): We tipped him in the Randwick Guineas because his first-up run saw him return figures that were comparable with Pierro over the final 800 metres. He franked those times with victory at Warwick Farm a fortnight and the $1.85 opening price looks over the odds.

STAR BET – LITEINTHENITE (Rosehill - Race 8 No. 11): This bloke's first-up record is outstanding and in all fairness should be faultless. When resuming in the spring he had no luck hen finishing second to Rolling Pin in the Cameron Handicap. He and Rolling Piin then franked that form finishing third and fourth in the Epsom. From barrier 6 on Saturday he'll get all favours in the run and his trials suggest he's going as well as ever. On an each-way basis he is a star bet.

VALUE TIP – HOWMUCHDOYOULOVEME (Rosehill - Race 7 No. 8): He was posted deep with no cover first-up in the Challenge Stakes and battled on well for third. He meets Snitzerland 4.5kg better at the weights and has drawn well. The step up to 1100 metres will suit and he's shown enough ability to be winning a race like this.

AND AGAIN SIR – Permit(Rosehill – Race 2 No. 2): Won this race last year and we reckon he's going well enough to do it again. He was a tad unlucky last start and back on his home track with a little weight drop will help. There's also good speed engaged.

BOUNCE BACK TIP – DOTHRAKI (Rosehill - Race 4 No.3): The All The Talk form appears to be the best of the males in these two-year-old events so far. This bloke went ok behind him and he's drawn to get the right run here. The blinkers go here which could prove to be a massive plus to his chances.

FAIR GO TIP – MISS STELLABELLE (Rosehill – Race 9 No. 2): Should've won first-up when she couldn't get out. That was an ideal run going into a race like this and she won second-up last campaign. She's drawn well in gate eight and we reckon she represents great value to close the card.

INTERSTATE SWITCH – I GET AROUND (Eagle Farm - Race 5 No. 3): Speed machine that comes out of a stakes race at Flemington during the Melbourne Cup carnival. The 1000 metres is his go and he looks set for a win with just 3.5kg over the minimum.

MARE SECOND-UP – CHATEAU MARGAUX (Caulfield - Race 1 No. 4): Was supported first-up before getting back to last and having no luck in the straight and finishing fifth. That was the perfect run leading into this and she will appreciate the step up to 1700 metres.

$50 QUADDIE STRATEGY – ROSEHILL: This week we think It's A Dundeel is all but a stand-out but we'll add Twisted Emotions as he has some X-factor and offers insurance. We've gone wide in the remaining three legs. A $50 investment will return 11.57 percent of the dividend if successful.
    1st leg: 2, 7
    2nd leg: 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 15
    3rd leg: 1, 3, 4, 10, 11, 14
    4th leg: 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8

$50 QUADDIE STRATEGY – CAULFIELD: Tricky quaddie again in Melbourne this week. We've taken Peter Moody to win the last leg. He's got a great record when saddling multiple runners in a Caulfield race. A $50 investment will yield 20.83 percent of the dividend if successful.
    1st leg: 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 10
    2nd leg: 1, 2, 5, 8
    3rd leg: 1, 2, 3, 5, 6
    4th leg: 5, 6
