    Diskane,

Ever heard of biometric stapling? Anyone opening a bank account today or some other type will feel the wrath of the aniti-laudering and terrorism act. Although someone may have known you for 10 years or so ie a bank manager, a certifed copy of some form of acceptable identification will still be required by the service provider.
It is futuristic, sure is,but one day it may just be that anyone succumbing to a saliva drug screening test in any one of a myriad of ways may also have a split sample filed and catalogued for DNA laser chip purposes. This photofiled laser chip would be implanted through the subcutaneous, no more complex than an adhesive band aid worn for <10secs until such time that the person dies. Then the DNA file would be deleted from the mainframe and stored in the human archives.Until that time, the photofiled laser chip would provide full identification configuration and would eliminate current identifcation procedures not to mention the cost and time impost. In simple terms, the saliva based biometric configuration would be like an e-tag on a tollway. As a car goes through the identification grid, data is processed and filed. The esaiest form of collection for DNA identification is saliva. The most difficult is blood and urine. Imagine every workplace, school, kinder, doctors surgery, hospital, dentist etc all legally contributing to the ultimate identification protocol known to mankind.
Diskane, you have opened up a pandoras box there my friend.

    Cheers
