The logos is the mind, plan and purpose within The God and while in you, it is you = And God (Father) was/is the Word.

    John's prologue is as per the following, introducing the Father first and His word for the first 13 verses, bringing the OT into the NT = perfect chronological order of the prologue, instead of skipping and hopping all over the place, forward and backward etc;

Mal 3:1 “Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to the temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming,” Says Yehowah of hosts.
Isa 40:3 - The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of Yehowah; Make straight in the desert A highway for our God. = Father Yehowah.

Way, make straight = TRUTH, who was, what was - his word and what it means, represents and brings, which Jesus picks up this banner 1:14 and runs with it.

No "the" as in, In "the" beginning, 1 & 2 are the mind and plans of the God and Father - logos/plan, shown to have been expressed by 1:3.

In beginning was the Word and the Word was to, toward, with the God and God was the Word.
This; was in beginning to, toward, with the God.

"This" = this is the ONLY word available and "this" is NOT referencing another person being with the God, it is in reference to the logos/plan, shown to have been express by 1:3, which includes the making of Jesus, as per God's words to the Angel to Mary.
Hence, Jesus is referred to as Word Man in 1:14.
Word God -> Image -> Word Man = deemed as a Word of God.

To -> expressing motion in the direction of (a particular location): -> plan
expressing a point reached at the end of a range or after a period of time: ex - Titus 1:2 - in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began, (to himself likely)
expressing the result of a process or action: -> plan, planning.
used to introduce the second element in a comparison: -> the mind and plans of God the Father.

Toward -> ongoing, in progress -> plan, planning = 1:3.
in the direction of -> 1:3
along a course leading to -> 1:3, Titus 1:2 etc
Can also be, happening at any moment -> 1:3

With -> Obviously, his plans within himself as per them being expressed by 1:3, would have been with him.
accompanied by (another person or thing): -> 1:3 as per his inner logos/plans
indicating the instrument used to perform an action: -> His inner logos expressed forth from himself 1:3
    in the same direction as:

The overall there, clearly supports what "this" is telling us, that the Word is NOT another person with the God and Father, it's a logos/plan.

    And God was/is the Word.
God and Word here are in effect interchanged, effectively being ref as one in the same.
Hence can be referred to as He, Him, It, this etc.

1:3 All things were made by Him (it) nothing that was made was made without it.
Light is also 'it' as the light is referring to the word of God.
So, you can pretty much walk though the first 13 verses, using "it".

Predominantly, the prologue, well at least the first 13 verses, centers round the word of God.
WHY - Psa 138:2 - I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.

    --------------
For your creation of Jesus being the word, the Bible would demand that you show that Jesus said the likes of -> Let there be light, as 1:3 Demands this.

Brain time for you, if he was the pre-existing Word, he would be speaking of himself, and Not the Father as he repeatedly tells us.

Forget this nonsense, desperate at that, Phil 2:7, as it has ZERO to do with a pre-existing Jesus, zero mention in that regard, whatsoever.
It is talking about the man Jesus, of those times and drawing upon the likes of Jesus' feet washing.
There Jesus said, I have given you an example to follow = Phil let this mind be in you which was in Jesus, of the here and now ONLY.
