Try looking on "gumtree.com.au" it's a social networking site that has free advertising , as you can imagine it's full of ad's that are worded almost the same.
I remember a guy trying to sell a $200,000 Winnebago camper for $8,000 , he had a similar story about being out of the country.
When i asked him for his ID he refused.
Don't get me wrong i have purchased stuff from this site and had no problems, the best way i have found to avoid scams is to offer some form of ID in exchange for their ID, drivers licence is the best because you can check through the RTA and of course a legitimate phone number also helps so you can talk in person.
Scammers won't reply if you ask for this type of transaction as it exposes them too much.
I have found that genuine people don't have that problem after 10-15 mins on the phone.
