I think Erdogan is a nasty piece of work and killing Ataturk's vision of a secular Turkey.
Most of the far right and anti-Islam brigade seemed to agree with this view in 2016, along with Wikileaks. Then Putin signed a gas pipeline deal with Turkey last year and Wikileaks mysteriously dropped its Turkey exposes a few weeks later. Russian backed media started playing nice with Erdogan around August 2016.
So if Putin has changed his tune and ordered Wikileaks, RT, Zero Hedge etc. to soften their stance on Turkey, I'm guessing that should have convinced a few of the far right here that Erdogan is a great guy, and just "misunderstood". Any Erdogan lovers in the house?
