Thanks @mistaTea for the detailed reply

On NZ exclusive rights, I was getting confused by the discussion around Spark & also potentially SL (again not familiar with them, but it seems they have a well regarded online platform). So it seems that SKT do have exclusive rights, but the discussion is around when the deal comes up for renegotiation in 2025........so the issue less an immediate one (although I guess there is a question of whether SKT can recoup/profit from the rights given it is assumed they had to pay significantly more than what they have done in the past).

From the couple of articles that I've read, it seems like NZR are hoping to leverage SL in commercialising the All Black brand overseas, so if anything, that would favour RugbyPass (although long term if that works, it will make the renewal in 2026 much more expensive).

I'm therefore somewhat puzzled why this seems to weigh negatively on SKT......you have what seems like an experienced IT tech company increasing the size of the audience which locally should help Sky subscriptions, and offshore should make something like RugbyPass more valuable. As I said, I'm a relatively new investor, so perhaps I'm missing the big picture here.
