In our country , if charged for a crime we are all presumed innocent until proved guilty BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT , in this case there appears to be reasonable doubt, but in indonesia if charged for a crime you are guilty until you prove your innocent, that is the difference .And this is a save face exercise for the indonesian justice system so even if there is a remote chance that she was an unsuspecting courier then the indos are not going to let her have any chance to prove she is innocent. Our govt doesnt want to make them lose face either so of course they will pay for the trial of the bali 9 becuase they know they are guilty and this wont cause any red faces . As for Corby if they spent the same money as they will for the bali 9 then of course they can prove she could be not guilty and that would mean RED FACES for Indonesia. It just wont happen Politics are now involved
