Let me try to clarify by giving an example. The other day I bought IIG at 35, knowing full well it would end the day at 32 and then open the following day at 28. I knew this in an instant by looking at the chart. Now you might say - well why the hell did you buy? But there are other psychological forces at play, and I want to understand them.
