Hard currencies (broker report brief comments issued yesterday on price technicals)
The London gold price ($2402 up $103 per oz) surged to new record highs once again, taking the gain to $335 or 16% from the breakout from resistance at $2067 on 8 March. A correction in the short-term would not surprise but the longer-term outlook continues to look excellent.Ditto for the AUD gold price ($3624 up $84 per oz). It actually peaked at $3755m on Friday before pulling back sharply..
