1. The USD $9.83mil already locked in at USD $2002.82/oz REFERENCE PRICE.
2. The REFERENCE PRICE is based on prior 5-day VWAP on LME (London Metal Exchange) spot prices.
So, there is not much that QM can do to time the payments unless gold price shoots up significantly over night, then QM can lock in lower price using previous average price on LME.
