There is a reason why top40 don't sell their shares don't they? It is because their perception of risk is different to yours and most short term holders's.

The top 40 shareholder argument is spurious nonsense. Today the volume is 173,000 shares. Tell me how do you shift a 5, 10, 20m share position in this market?

Joe's hoover has clearly gone kaput, so I think it's is more realistic to conclude that the big shareholders are locked in.
