It seems like existing funds are held in some sort of trust fund which is obviously a different account to the one used for transfer from quantum. As such i guess 10 million would be deposited from overseas then quickly transferred to the australian holding fund?
Looking at that seems no great benefit to account holding bank and i can see why they might suspect money laundering or something as money just comes in and goes out? Very unusual arrangement, and i can imagine being carefully watched by government? Could explain the problems.
