Only AVL was awarded 49 million in Federal Govt grant money. The other 6 all got nothing.
The Fed's throw a lot of money around, but usually it is for votes. This 49 million doesn't buy any votes. They could easily have spent it buying votes in such and such town or city. Or the Feds could easily had spread the 49 million over 2 or more ASX Vanadium companies to hedge the bet.
But no.
The LNP threw 49 million at AVL because they are extremely confident that AVL will succeed as a company with its plans to mine Vanadium in the national interest.
If AVL fails, the LNP know it will be used against them in the future.
