"During the prior year, the Company exercised the option with Genorah Resources (Pty) Ltd, a company of which Mr Mphahlele, Mr Pandor and Ms Sithole are directors, to acquire a 59% interest in the Platinum Farms Hoepakrantz 291 KT, Nooitverwacht 324 KT and Eerste Geluk 327 KT. Under the agreement, the Company issued Genorah 250,000,000 fully paid ordinary shares which were valued at A$0.13 per share, being the share price on the date the option was exercised."
Quicksilvasurfa, in the unlikely event that the court case was an unfavourable outcome for Genorah Resources, I would agree that a joint venture with a Nkwe Platinum-Xstrata alliance would seem to be the best alternative for Bengwenyama Minerals to develop its PGM resources.
In that hypothetical situation, it would be more the case that Genorah Resources would have to surrender a swag of shares that were issued by Nkwe Platinum in consideration for prospecting rights that they did not control.
