The BFS is done by a external party. So MMX has no influence over it. So MMX can do a deal in a few days after not be able to a doing a deal in 4 years. They went into suspension so they could do a deal and save there already low cap ex.

Yes they may do this deal but the cost will be HUGE.

They also may not.

MMX has screwed OPR for everyone. I'm mightly annoyed.

What chance does China really have now to invest in the midwest. A FIRB under a labor/Greens govt will almost certainly be torpedoed.
