Thank goodness you Aussies saw the destructive power of Rudd and got rid of him. Congratulations. I have never come across anything as stupid as his super tax proposal.The man is a complete dipstick. Australia relies on foreign capital to make it great.
I hope the incumbents can exit that strategy and get on with making Australia rich through their tremendous CSG resources and mineral resources. Instal a small levy if you have to,.... but please get rid of that super tax.
Am currently in Kafelonia, Greece and reading a superb book " The Squeeze...oil, money and Greed in the 21st century". by Tim Bower. I recommend it to all. It covers the problems of investing in Russia, Kazakhstan etc. (It slso covers how BP got their permits in the Gulf of Mexico.) Get a copy. You won't put it down.
Little wonder that British Gas rate Australia ( Gladstone in particular ) as their JEWEL IN THEIR CROWN. ( I said that to my wife and she said " Yeah, until Rudd ruined it! )
In the meantime BOW goes about its business of proving up more reserves on the way to becoming a major energy player ( in Australia )
