"Given the huge gas contents in BOW's part of the basin (much higher than anything MEL will encounter"

Answer: "Comparisons are odious" (William Shakespeare) and remind me of schoolyard squabbles but I don't think so.

Are you a student? I wonder: "Youth is a blunder; Manhood a struggle; Old age a regret" [1844 Coningsby] ). You can guess which one I belong to! LOL

Taken from researcher JengaRules post. I trust he does not mind.

MEL have explored <10% of their acreage?
+ MEL have a potentially vast conventional gas resource @ Kingfisher/Mackellar

So "in the current quarter" would mean the same as "in the coming months" right?

Answer: No, there are only 6 weeks of the Q left. To be accurate you should have written: "in the coming weeks". Right?

"Casino is in the Byron Bay hinterland."

Answer: No. By this logic Perth is in the hinterland of Byron and Byron is in the hinterland of Perth.

If Casino were in the Byron hinterland then Casino property values would be quadruple what they are today, like Bangalow or Federal for example.

These affluent communities do lie in the hinterland (on the escarpment) and are seldom visited by the impoverished people of Casino. The burghers of Byron/Federal et al would have to take a packed lunch and fill their BMWs with premium petrol before taking a spin down to Casino - that is if they knew how to get there. Come to think of it Casino wages wouldn't fill the 'utes to get them east.

You were joking about no greenies in Nimbin, right?

"And 'general consensus' is a tautology like reversing backwards ... it's a phrase in common usage."

Answer: common usage doesn't change the fact that it is sloppy. I will explain: 'general' and 'consensus' are a repetition of the same word.

Remove one and the meaning does not change so the removed word was redundant. Self-editing if you like. It's an endless journey and quite difficult.

For our entertainment, the Oxford Dictionary teaches us that the word tautology can be traced back to 1579. There is a rather good quote from 1687 (source unknown): "our whole life is but a nauseous tautology"

"You could just not have posted."
Answer: it amuses me to post rebuttals.

Alas, MEL will not be @ $50 next week but the Bowerbird 1&2 resource upgrades could change your view on MEL/BOW.

As for ESG, they tell us so little I just hang in there and try not to suck my thumb.

    Cheers.
