You are right that there are a few other unlisted morsels out there, but I don't think they have anywhere near the scale or reach of Bega.
Harvey Fresh in WA is an obvious target, but the transportation costs of getting product from WA to the eastern seaboard is prohibitive, and visa versa. Hence Parmalat's interest in them, as they would want to have national coverage for their Milk brands, which they currently do not have.
I believe it's just a matter of time before either Lactalis (Parmalat), Kirin, Murray Goulburn or Fonterra show their hand. And that's assuming there is no interest from other Multinationals such as Danone.
All IMHO of course.
