I encourage you to drive through the Bega Valley and see how many farms are now not supplying milk. Over 55 farms in the local area, some farms 3 generations old have now folded. A direct result of poor milk prices and increase costs for feed etc as a result of the drought. This will weigh in for milk products production costs when milk has to be shipped from interstate.
