I'm surprised that there isn't much discussion about how the senate inquiry into supermarkets hasn't improved Begas share price. Given the amount of brands that Bega has, I would have thought the duopoly would have leaned on them a fair bit for promotions. Walking around and seeing the specials, a number of products that Bega supplies are routinely on special.
As a shareholder, I'm still intrigued how the ACCC allowed Coles to buy Saputos processing plant with regards to the dairy industry history. I guess I have to trust that the ACCC has diligently done their job...
