After receiving the in specie distribution back in 2009 I sold out of GPT about a year later. My understanding was I still owned the (then worthless) BGP shares. However, after getting the email recently about the payout that is coming I checked on my LINK market services account and found I had zero holdings. Is this true? Were my BGP in specie shares passed on to the new owners of my GPT shares?
