The CSG in Qld would probably not have been explored and developed if it had not of been for access to international gas prices via LNG export terminals .

Therefore it looks like the exporting of LNG is a red herring and that sooner or later the same problem would have occurred , maybe with even worse consequences due to further dependence on unreliable/ and intermittent renewables .

This socialism and authoritarian green thinking which has declared war on fossil fuels obviously appeals to under achievers and middle class self loathers but it offers nothing to ordinary people trying to keep their head above water or the manufacturing industry .

In 10 years time Australians will look back , wonder where their standard of living went and rue the missed opportunity .
